Our aim is to not only teach dance and provide our students with professional training but we aim to create a building bridge to assist our students in the direction they want to go. Whether that be for students wanting a career in the performing arts or helping our students with goals, co-ordination, confidence, self-esteem or social skills. We create opportunities for our students with whichever pathway they take.
Our teachers are highly qualified, experienced and supportive industry professionals to give our students the best opportunity to learn dance. Our teachers keep up to date with what's going on in the industry and are always attending workshops, classes and interstate training to further develop their skills and keep up to date with what's happening in the industry. All teachers hold a current working with Children Blue Card. Our Teachers are more than just instructors, we support, mentor, inspire and dedicate our time to help grow each child in their dance training.

SJ Dance prides itself on being unique with a brand new spacious and inspiring studio. SJ DANCE has First class facilities with Safe Sprung flooring in every studio with a tarkett dance surface. SJ Dance has 3 fully equipped state of the art Studios, air conditioned, reception, student lounge, viewing room for parents, kitchen, bathroom & incredible sound and lighting facilities.
Individual Attention!
To ensure each and every student is provided with the best in performing arts education, SJ have capped class numbers in every class for ultimate Personal attention and to ensure an optimal teaching environment. The Director Samantha Howcroft is committed to ensuring all classes are monitored throughout the year. This enables her to make sure that no student is left behind and that’s what sets us apart from others.
Each and every student at SJ is important to us. To ensure the best teaching environment, SJ has an innovative program to ensure parents are kept informed with their child's progress. The SJ teaching faculty allocate time to provide feedback of each individual dancer with a student report system. The student reports are handed out at the end of each term to ensure all students are receiving the attention they need to develop in their dancing to their full potential.

Owner Samantha and her amazing team have created a dance environment for all dancers. From beginners to elite performance students, tiny tots to seniors they have it all. If you are a beginner the staff and students will always make sure you fit in, and if you're at an elite level they provide many opportunities for growth. I also like that Sam thinks of all aspects of her student's needs from performance levels, mental health and wellbeing to just generally being a kid and having a laugh and some fun. We love SJ Dance.
